Krista Walker brings a rare combination of legal skill, courtroom experience, and deep human understanding to every client she represents across Alabama. Before becoming an attorney, she spent 20 years as a therapist and worked extensively in child welfare services, gaining insight into families, trauma, and human behavior that few lawyers possess. That foundation shapes everything about how she practices law.
Krista went on to earn her law degree and began her legal career as a prosecutor, where she developed a thorough command of the criminal justice system — including trial practice, evidentiary hearings, and litigation strategy. She now brings that insider knowledge to bear on behalf of clients facing difficult moments.
With four-plus years of legal practice focused on criminal and family law, Krista combines courtroom skill with a client-centered approach rooted in compassion, honesty, and tenacious advocacy.
